Whiskey is as sweet as pie and has the perfect off-switch. She is incredibly intelligent, affectionate, and a joy to live with. Her name suits her perfectly; when it's time to work, her focus and determination shine through. Once she understands a task, she tackles it with enthusiasm and gives it her all, always eager to please.
She is incredibly fun to train and thrives on learning new things. Her intelligence, trainability, and willingness to work make her a rewarding partner in any endeavour. While Whiskey enjoys learning and working alongside her people, her absolute favourite activity is swimming. Whether it's a quick dip or a full day spent in the water, she is happiest when she can swim to her heart's content.
Beyond her wonderful temperament, Whiskey has already proven herself in the conformation ring, earning impressive placements at a young age. Her combination of beauty, brains, and work ethic has made her a standout both in and out of the ring, and she continues to show great promise for the future.

Whiskey made her baby puppy debut in the conformation ring at the Barrie Kennel and Obedience Club. With very little handling experience and no formal handling classes, she amazed us by earning Best Baby Puppy in Group (BBPIG) under Judge Gerardo Bernard. She was an absolute rockstar, and I couldn’t be prouder of her performance!

Whiskey was kindly awarded 2 Female Baby Puppy 1sts under Judge Veronica Mercer and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Regional Specialty Judge Terry DePietro, along with some truly lovely comments from both judges.

Whiskey wrapped up her Baby Puppy/Beginner Puppy days in style, earning National Best Beginner Puppy at the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever National Specialty (NBBPISS). A huge thank you to Judge Ronda Bermke for recognizing our girl in such a large and beautiful BPup entry. It was truly an honour to be in Ronda's ring, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Whiskey made her Junior Puppy debut at the Wine Country Kennel Club and stole the show! She was proudly awarded Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed by judge Richard Paquette, earning her first 2 points toward her Championship, along with some truly lovely comments. What a way to start her Junior Puppy journey!

At the Credit Valley Kennel Club, Whiskey shone bright! She was awarded Winners Female, Best Puppy/Best of Breed, and even went on to win Best Puppy in Group (BPIG) under judge Sean Shields, who also shared some wonderful comments about our girl.

Whiskey had an amazing day at the Aurora & District Kennel Club! From the Junior Female class over Specials, she was awarded Best of Opposite Sex, Best of Winners, and Best Puppy in Breed under judge Patrice Johansen, earning her CKC Championship (CH) title with limited showing!

Brace is a class where two dogs of the same breed are judged as an identical pair in colour, size, gait, and stride. When viewed from the side, they should appear as one dog and its shadow, all while being handled by one person on a single lead.
Judge Laura Reeves awarded Best Brace in National Specialty Show to Laredo and Whiskey, noting that it is one of the hardest and bravest classes to enter and commenting on how incredibly in sync they were. We are honoured to have received such a rewarding win at an event of this size, competing alongside a large entry of brace teams.

At just 15 months of age, Whiskey earned an Award of Merit at the Regional Specialty Show under respected judge Ms. Starr White, standing out in a highly competitive entry of more than 80 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
